We offer a seasonally-rotating menu of pastries, snacks, and freshly prepared food, which is all hand-crafted in our kitchens using fresh, local ingredients.
Members of this team will support café operations primarily by prepping, cooking and running food. We offer room to grow, and a great opportunity to learn classic Coffeebar products as well as to experiment, learn and practice different techniques and create ever-changing seasonally-influenced items directed by our BOH team. We are looking for kitchen staff members that are passionate in their pursuit of excellence, and driven to continuously learn and grow.
1+ years high-volume, fast-paced food service experience preferred.
Sense of humor, positive & team-oriented attitude.
Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Existing Food Handler's Certification or certification within 30 days post-hire.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to genuinely connect with a large and diverse group of coworkers and customers.
Maintaining knowledge of current menu offerings, including seasonal and rotating menu items, and communicating that information effectively to customers.
Strong multi-tasking skills; ability to stay cool and collected in a busy cafe environment.
Flexible schedule and able to work at least 3 days a week (including 1 weekend day).
