The Background

At Coffeebar, we bring together our passion for excellent coffee, craft wine & beer, farm-to-table food and great company to create a radically-inclusive Italian café experience. 

Our coffee program is dedicated to seed-to-cup sourcing and purchasing coffees of the highest quality from around the world.   We roast using the perfect blend of art and science, prepare with care, and serve with love. Following the tradition of Italian cafes, Coffeebar is more than just a coffee company. We offer a seasonally-rotating menu of freshly prepared food, healthy snacks, and sweet treats, all of which are hand-crafted in our kitchens using fresh, local ingredients. We serve something delicious for every time of day, from your morning coffee to your evening glass of wine.

Coffeebar baristas are masters in the arts of coffee and hospitality. They are passionate in their pursuit of excellence, and driven to continuously learn and grow. We’re looking for team members who will bring personality, professionalism, and skill to our growing company.

 

Requirements

At least 1 year of coffee industry or high volume food/beverage experience, with a demonstrated interest in learning more about the art and science of coffee.

Preparing coffee and tea beverages to Coffeebar standards.

Providing excellent hospitality so each one of our customers feels welcomed and at home in our cafe.

Maintaining knowledge of current menu offerings, including seasonal and rotating menu items, and communicating that information effectively to customers.

Filling non-bar front of house roles such as cashier, float, and prep, as needed.

Participating in training activities in pursuit of furthering coffee, wine, beer, food, and service knowledge.

Ensuring good upkeep of brewing equipment including espresso machines, brewers, and grinders.

Communicating store needs and ideas for improvement with management team.

Upholding Coffeebar standards in compliance with federal, state, and local health and safety regulations.

Existing Food Handler's Certification or certification within 30 days post-hire.

Flexible schedule and able to work at least 3 days a week, including 1 weekend day.
