The Background

The Assistant Production Roaster is a first step for those wishing to pursue a career on the production side of the roastery. First and foremost, they roast multiple batches of coffee to a high degree of consistency and accuracy. Additionally, their role will include a heavy amount of production: stickering, weighing, and bagging retail and bulk coffee for Coffeebar stores and wholesale accounts.

Requirements

1+ years’ experience in coffee, retail or hospitality industry

Supportive of a positive, inclusive work environment

A demonstrated enthusiasm for coffee and/or a desire to learn

Competency in order fulfillment

Strong attention to detail

Ability to communicate clearly and multi-task with ease

Commitment to safety
